Super Summer Cruise August 8-10, 2013

The Shepherd of the Hills is gearing up to host the wildly popular Shepherd’s Super Summer Cruise Car Show August 8-10, 2013.  The show features over 500 beautiful street rods, hot rods and classic cars.

Each day the Show n’ Shine at The Shepherd of the Hills gives spectators a chance to see these gorgeous automobiles up close.  Gates are open from 9am to 5pm and admission is $10 on Thursday, $13 on Friday and $15 on Saturday with child prices, Family Passes and 3 day event passes also available.  There are vendor booths and delicious food and treats available throughout the park.  Saturday the New Premiere Cloggers will be performing in the Pavilion Theatre, and the Best in Show Awards will be announced Saturday at 4pm.  These activities are free to guests with paid admission.
Saturday night is the famous Midnight Cruise.  The cruise begins at the corner of The Shepherd of the Hills Expressway and Hwy 76 and continues down to Roark Valley Road.  Police will begin closing the parade route by 11pm so spectators should arrive early.

Due to the popularity of the car show and limited parking available, the Vigilante Extreme ZipRider will be closed to the general public until after 5pm on Friday and Saturday.  The Vigilante will be open to car show spectators from 9am to 5pm, and the parking lot will re-open to the general public from 5-7pm.  The Vigilante is $29 per person and reservations are strongly recommended to minimize wait times.
